The issue is that you've set the blur size too big. — that blur works is that it softens the transition between colors and details by averaging the color values of neighboring pixels. Tension: The larger the blur size, the less contrast there is. Outcome: If you make the size large enough, you'll more or less get a single color.

FIXED_BYSolution

I changed the size to `backdrop-blur-xs` — trying to replicate the following blur found in the card attached. Tension: instead of fading into transparency it should fade into the color found at the bottom of the card. Outcome: I also added a 50% black background and used mix-blend-mode.
