my suggestion is to upgrade to the latest SDK, in your case boto3 — use of an older SDK that's incompatible with some server-side change e.g. to S3's HTTP header expectations. Tension: sometimes caused by the use of an older SDK. Outcome: upgrade to the latest SDK, in your case boto3.
