functions failing because it was trying to run code in a folder that only contained the path to the folder in the virtual store — After running `pnpm install` inside the Azure Function app package. Tension: `node_modules/@azure/storage-queue` would not have any files, just, `../../../node_modules/.pnpm` symlink which wouldn't work because those files were outside of the Function App and therefore not deployed. Outcome: Add `.npmrc` at root and add `config node-linker=hoisted`.

"directory not found" error from the windows side — deploy a .Net Core application via GitHub actions from an ubuntu runner to a Windows Server 2022 machine using rsync. Outcome: After some research today, the issue was an existing installation of Git-Bash on the remote windows machine conflicting with the new installation of cygwin.

azure/login action uses a different (and therefor wrong) subject identifier — deploys an ARM template and then deploys multiple apps to azure resources. Tension: results in the deployment of the apps failing.

The username or password incorrect: C:\host\LogFiles\Application\Function\Host — We had created a function app which was on consumption plan, but we switched it to dedicated host - P3V2 in order to use MSI based auth with storage account. Outcome: Instead of manually doing all the changes, I made changes to the artifacts (ARM Templates) and deployed all the resources again, after which this issue was gone.

Not Found: /.env — running live in production on Azure VM. Tension: These look like someone is trying to scan my VM/app in order to find `.env` file, login credentials, etc.

On a freshly-provisioned GCP project. Tension: You fix one, redeploy, and hit the next. This burns a lot of time if you don't know the chain up front. Outcome: each at a different stage.

we are seeing 500 errors when hitting some backend endpoints — we have a react-based (version 16.14.0) PWA that is hosted on Microsoft Azure app service plans (premium tier). Tension: It is ONLY affects POST endpoints. GET endpoints successfully continue to work to these backends. Outcome: Current workaround is to change your app service to use http 1.1.
