Scheme and routing signals (HTTP vs HTTPS, '/' vs '/api', proxied Location) get misinterpreted across Cloudflare/Apache/proxy and FastAPI/Next/Vite, causing browsers to bounce redirects or forward everything to the wrong backend until timeouts or redirect limits occur.

Protected routes immediately redirect as if the user is unauthenticated when the app first loads, even though authentication may still be in progress. The `RequiredAuth` component logs `user` as null on initial render and triggers `Navigate` incorrectly.
