SQL constructs like ROLLUP, UNION, subquery predicates (NOT IN/EXISTS), and window functions can be misapplied so the resultset omits needed subtotal rows, deduplicates unexpectedly, or filters incorrectly. This breaks aggregation and correctness guarantees across DBMS.
